Wine Information

 

* Alc. 10,5 %, Residual sugar 195 g/L, Acidity 6.0 g/L, Sugar-free extract 45 g/L, Yield 300 L/ha (30 gallons/acre) = 2 oz (60 cc) per vine.
* Harvested in November and December 2012.
* Whole bunch selection from Muscat ( 25%), Kabar (45%) Furmint (5%) and Hárslevelű (25%).
* Source: exclusively from our first class Király, Betsek and Veresek vineyards.
* All of the clusters were partially botrytized.
* No destemming, instead, gentle whole bunch pressing was employed.
* Completely natural, local wild yeast fermentation without any nutrient addition.
* Barrel fermented and aged for 16 months in Hungarian oak barrels (Miklóssy, 225L, light toast) previously used for aszú wines.
* Fined and filtered, using complex protein/paper filter/membrane.
* Hand bottled on April 26, 2014. Cork: Procork Fleur 45x24 mm.
* 12,014 bottles produced (500 ml Renana Vin Santo bottles).
* Aged in bottle for 7 years prior to its release in 2022.
