Tokaji Dry Furmint “Kiraly” 2009

Wine Information

Alc. 16.2%, Residual sugar 5.5 g/L, Acidity 5.6 g/L, Sugar-free extract 22 g/L, Yield 40 hl/ha = 27 oz (800ml)/vine.

• Harvested on the15th of November, 2009 from our first class Király vineyard.
• Destemming, overnight cold soak in pneumatic press, gentle pressing and settling.
• Completely natural, local wild yeast fermentation without any nutrient addition.
• Barrel fermented and aged in new Hungarian oak barrels (Kádár Hungary, 225L, medium toast) for 16 months.
• Fined and filtered using bentonite/paper filter.
• Hand bottled on 12-13th of March, 2011. Cork: Procork Natur Extra, 45x24 mm
• 8,012 bottles produced (750 ml, Burgundy Tradition)
• Aged in bottle for 6 months prior to its release in September of 2011
