Zachy's New York auctions off an original 6 bottle wooden case of ALANA-TOKAJ 2005 Tokaji Aszú 6 puttonyos, 95 pts WS, Top 100 WS by score, at double the high estimate, for $1,037, setting a new record for recent artisanal aszu release from Tokaj!
(For reference, Szepsy's '99 6 puttonyos aszu sells for $551 per 12 bottle case, at Sotheby's Dec. 1 2012 New York Auction.)
